Cabopino Puerto

Area

Riviera Del Sol is ideally situated between Fuengirola and Marbella. Both these resorts offer a host of superb activities. The famous resort of Puerto Banus is within easy reach and the beautiful Mijas Pueblo (Village) is also close by and is only a 20 minute drive away on the convenient toll road.

There are many bars and restaurants both close by and a short drive away. Whether you are looking for a family holiday with lots of fun packed activities, a relaxing break or a golfing getaway this coast has something to suit everyone.

Orange Square, Marbella Marbella's motto is "A Way of Life" and, certainly, this luxurious resort town seems to have it all and is, a favourite location for the rich and famous. Enjoy star spotting at all the many bars, restaurants and fabulous designer shops that Marbella has on offer.

The oldest part of town is a delight and be sure to visit the fabled Orange Square which has a honeycomb of surrounding narrow streets where homes, shops and restaurants mingle to create the atmosphere of a small village, rather than a cosmopolitan town.

Cabopino Marina Cabopino Marina is one of the best spots along this coast. From the exclusive marina which is surrounded by restaurants which are world famous (Spot the Celebrity in Albert's - it's not difficult) to the golden sands of Andy's Beach whose Chiringito (Beach Bar) is one of the best we have ever visited.

Why bother going to Cabopino when there are plenty of other beaches? Quite simply, because Cabopino is unlike anywhere else on the coast

La Cala Boulevard La Cala which has is one of the cleanest and safest beaches on the coast and annually is awarded the prestigious Blue Flag Award also has a good selection of bars and restaurants to choose from. From the famous Mijas Playa (Alberts sister restaurant) to the tapas bars and Chiringitos there is something for everyone in La Cala.

The small market on Wednesdays and Saturdays is also well worth a visit.

Mijas Pueblo Mijas Pueblo or Benalmadina Pueblo either are a must to visit. The views are spectacular and the food is what a holiday in Spain is all about, simple good food with Rioja that costs less than a pint of beer at home. Leave plenty of time to explore the windy streets with craft shops and leather bargains (be prepared to barter!).

Check out any Fiestas or Feria's and throughtout the year they have great music events such as Latin nights and of course Flamenco in abundance.

Fuengirola Fuengirola is all about fun and with over 5 miles of beaches and family fun such as the Aqua Park, seafront entertainments and the Zoo all make Fuengirola a favourite place for tourists and local families alike.

A wide variety of entertainment and restaurants to suit everyone from Andalucian traditional tapas (snacks bars), local fish restaurants and modern continental cuisine all make Fuengirola a popular choice for going out to eat.
